The EDRA55 Portland Conference, titled "Human Centric Environments: Promoting Design that Sustains Human Prosperity, Well-being, and the Global Environment at All Scales," will be held at the Hilton Downtown Portland from June 19—22, 2024. The Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) invites practitioners, researchers, and educators to present their proposals for this annual event. The presentation "Portland Museum of Art: Collaboration in Community-Centered Design" is scheduled for Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 2:15—3:30 pm at Parlor C (Ballroom Level. This session explores the implementation of a community-centered approach in the design of cultural spaces, focusing on LEVER's project, the Portland Museum of Art's campus expansion and unification. The discussion emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and community engagement in design processes, integrating perspectives from clients, community members, and design collaborators.
